Perform quarterly loss reserve analyses across multiple P&C lines, monitor reserve adequacy, conduct semiannual long-duration UPR analyses, improve actuarial data/reporting, perform deep-dive program analyses, support pricing due diligence, assist regulatory reporting (US Annual Statement, Schedule P, IFRS 17), and estimate collateral needs for unauthorized reinsurers.

Serve as primary client liaison for warranty and protection programs: manage onboarding, coordinate cross-functional teams, track performance, maintain CRM, recommend growth opportunities, and support ongoing account health.

Support catastrophe risk management by preparing and validating exposure data, running vendor catastrophe models, performing loss and accumulation analyses, producing reinsurance pricing indications, and delivering reports and visualizations to underwriters and senior team members.

Lead advanced analytics for pricing and underwriting by building models, curated datasets, pipelines, dashboards, and data products. Partner with Pricing, Underwriting, IT and leadership to prioritize initiatives, deploy scalable analytics on cloud platforms, evaluate emerging technologies/AI, and mentor a small analytics team to improve risk selection, portfolio management, and pricing accuracy.

Lead and coach a claims support team to ensure accurate, consistent execution and timely resolution of escalations. Monitor workflow, quality, and productivity; use data and reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Partner with QA, training, and cross-functional teams to adopt tools (including AI-enabled solutions), simplify processes, and scale operations while building a culture of accountability and development.

Provide hands-on legal advice on insurance product design, coverage, and claims for admitted, surplus lines, and warranty/service contract products. Partner with Underwriting, Product, Regulatory, Claims, and leadership to draft and interpret policy language, assess coverage positions, manage disputes, support regulatory matters, and coordinate with outside counsel on high-risk coverage issues.
