We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments throughout the implementation and ongoing management of warranty and protection product programs. This role combines account management, project coordination, and customer relationship management to ensure successful program launches, exceptional client experiences, and continued growth of existing partnerships.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, experience in the warranty or service contract industry, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Compliance, IT, Claims, and Finance teams to facilitate seamless onboarding, support revenue growth initiatives, and identify opportunities to expand product offerings within existing accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing client onboarding or implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of warranty administration, claims processes, compliance requirements, and product development.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional corporate environment.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Acts as primary account liaison-providing day-to-day service for existing and prospective partners managing day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new, and upcoming opportunities ensuring prompt responses, reporting and communication.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape.
  • Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines.
  • Establish and build strong working client relationships with business leaders at all levels to achieve long-term partnerships.
  • Responsible for internal department communication and coordination between Sales, Underwriting, Marketing, Finance, Reinsurance, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Operations, Claims, IT, etc.
  • Manages all aspects of the implementation/onboarding and partner agreement process for assigned accounts, coordinating, and completing tasks associated with program development, onboarding, and execution.
  • Maintains Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, stage progression and reporting.
  • Maintains knowledge of contractual obligations for partners, including financials, performance expectations, terms, reporting, licensing, insurance, and compliance.
  • Proactively evaluates existing partner’s sales and production performance and program profitability of assigned accounts to determine areas needing program or process improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to management and partners, developing strategic plans to increase partner revenue through marketing, training, pricing, or new product offerings.
  • Review sales support metrics, analytics, and dashboards to report on program performance and productivity of sales, including the various regions, stores, dealers, and sales associates of our partners.
  • Dedicates time to follow up with accounts and exchange resources, updates, and account activity.
  • As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • 5+ years of account management, client services, project management, or implementation experience.
  • Experience within the warranty, service contract, vehicle protection, insurance, or related industry.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
