The Machine Learning Engineer will develop AI capabilities, improve data processing methods, and focus on machine learning algorithms for data analysis and target detection.

Design, build, test, and deploy geospatial analytic applications and data pipelines on Palantir Foundry and related Palantir platforms. Implement ontologies, data normalization, matching algorithms, and analytics for GEOINT; integrate external geospatial services (ESRI, OSM, OGC). Document architectures, define data provenance and acceptance criteria, and support RMF/A ATO processes in an intelligence/DoD context.

Build, operate, and maintain an R&D laboratory for advanced RF and radar research. Responsibilities include lab design, test equipment setup, systems administration, data management, regulatory compliance, test planning, hardware/software integration, and documentation. Support modeling, algorithm development, waveform design, prototyping, and hardware-in-the-loop testing while coordinating procurement, calibration, and configuration management to enable DoD-focused sensing technologies.

Perform deep reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of embedded hardware and software in military systems. Extract and analyze binaries, develop custom static/dynamic analysis and datalink tools, generate technical reports and schematics, troubleshoot and repair hardware, operate equipment in lab/field tests, and mentor junior engineers.

The Test Director leads directed energy and kinetic test programs, coordinating testing operations, data collection, and analysis within a multidisciplinary team for DoD clients.

Design and execute test plans and procedures, run tests against code baselines, report and track defects, produce test documentation and reports, update tracking tools, and work with users to verify requirements while adhering to NASIC security requirements.

Develop and advance ML and signal-processing algorithms for SAR-based Automatic Target Recognition (ATR). Perform R&D on remotely sensed RF data, create Near Real Time algorithms, prototype NRT systems, and contribute to analysis reports and briefings supporting physics-based signature estimation.

Develop and implement algorithms for EO/IR/RF phenomenologies, generate signatures using COTS/GOTS tools, model missile and aircraft systems, analyze remotely sensed data, produce reports, support PED workflows, and brief results to stakeholders.

Develop physics-based models and simulation frameworks for RF electronic warfare, EO/IR, and IRCM systems. Integrate and refine sensor and communication system models, translate customer requirements, and contribute to model-based engineering and visualization tools within a core simulation environment supporting DoD customers.
