Municipal Bonds Trader supports retail sales and trading teams by valuing municipal bonds, processing transactions, responding to inquiries, evaluating bids and offerings, monitoring market conditions, posting trades and offerings to Bondworks ECN, and generating sales ideas. The role requires a finance background, municipal bond trading knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Provides phone and email support for Stifel’s client-facing digital platforms and banking products. Troubleshoots application issues, gathers user information, applies established solutions, creates support tickets, handles escalations, maintains interaction records, and follows up with users. Collaborates with IT Product Support, branch personnel, and internal teams while developing training materials and providing timely updates to leadership.

Analyzes business practices, data models, products, and customer needs to improve digital and firm experiences. Partners with product, technology, and business teams on strategy, competitive analysis, reporting, data modeling, and detailed specifications. Creates advanced SQL queries and normalized datasets, supports Agile initiatives, manages multiple assignments, and provides leadership, delegation, and associate development while maintaining risk and controls awareness.

Supports senior equity research analysts covering consumer broadlines and hardlines by building and validating financial models, conducting valuation and industry analysis, maintaining comparable-company data, gathering market and management information, producing written research, responding to client and sales questions, and presenting investment theses. Develops sector expertise, manages research databases, maintains client contacts, and travels occasionally for industry and client activities.

Lead full-stack software development across design, integration, testing, release, maintenance, and documentation. Mentor developers, establish coding standards and development procedures, research technical issues, improve web applications, support continuous integration, and transform UI/UX mockups into accessible, cross-browser front-end functionality using modern development practices.

Supports Financial Advisors with annuity product questions, reviews, case design, and implementation in financial planning. Serves as a liaison between advisors and annuity vendors, evaluates products and vendor relationships, updates internal marketing materials, and develops campaigns, newsletters, and social media content to increase annuity awareness and sales. Provides backup order-entry support and communicates product changes while maintaining compliance knowledge.

Provides phone and written support to Stifel branch offices, addressing application, procedural, industry, and operational questions. Researches inquiries, documents caller interactions, identifies and escalates issues, and communicates updates to leadership. The role requires maintaining high customer service standards, collaborating with branch personnel and internal teams, following established procedures, and learning financial-services applications, regulations, and company policies.

Owns the backlog and roadmap for shared platform capabilities, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and developer self-service tooling. Partners with engineering, security, architecture, and product teams to define technical user stories, prioritize work, validate delivery, and maintain secure, reliable, scalable platform standards. Gathers developer feedback, supports releases and enablement, and evaluates technical feasibility across infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.

Provides analytical and transaction support for municipal financings, including financial and debt modeling, public-sector capital research, debt profile analysis, market research, and preparation of client presentations, pitch books, proposals, memorandums, and case studies. Supports senior bankers, participates in client meetings, maintains client contact, and assists throughout financing transactions. Some travel and work outside normal business hours are expected.

Leads complex technology programs and concurrent projects, with a primary focus on Salesforce platform initiatives. Oversees configuration, integrations, data, releases, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications. Mentors project managers and business analysts, improves delivery processes and tooling, establishes program metrics, and communicates technology value to executives. Coordinates internal teams, business partners, and third-party vendors while driving consistent, high-quality delivery.
