Drive customer engagements to architect, deploy, tune, and operate Couchbase-based data platforms. Solve complex technical issues, enable AI-ready architectures, advise stakeholders, collaborate with sales, and author technical collateral.

The role involves managing strategic accounts, driving new business and retention, building relationships with executives, and executing account plans.

Own the technical narrative for Couchbase: create positioning, technical content, demos, benchmarks and competitive intelligence; enable Sales and Engineers; represent the product externally; partner on launches and roadmap input.

Produce and maintain auditable SaaS ARR roll forwards and consumption models; analyze retention (NRR/GRR/cohorts); support bookings, revenue forecasts, pipeline and funnel analytics from Salesforce; track GTM unit economics (LTV/CAC, SaaS Magic Number); prepare board/PE sponsor reporting, AOP and rolling forecasts; deliver fast, precise ad hoc analyses for CFO and leadership.

Lead end-to-end product execution for one or more AI platform capabilities across Capella and Couchbase Enterprise. Write PRFAQs/PRDs, validate with named enterprise customers, partner closely with engineering, design, sales and GTM, drive launches and adoption, and embed AI-driven PM practices. Mentor junior PMs and contribute to cross-portfolio strategy and external-facing content.

Provide legal support for commercial contracting and corporate governance. Independently draft, review, and negotiate buy-side and sell-side agreements; create templates and playbooks; streamline contracting processes; advise on privacy/AI governance, global regulatory and import/export compliance; assist with entity maintenance, policy management, and routine dispute resolution.

Lead global hyperscaler alliances (AWS, Azure, GCP) to drive GTM strategy, marketplace revenue, co-sell pipeline, and product integrations. Act as a player-coach to execute deals, grow a team, align field sales and partner marketing, and deliver multi‑million dollar ARR outcomes.

Lead media relations and PR execution to boost awareness and protect reputation. Manage media monitoring, rapid response, executive spokesperson prep, partner announcement gatekeeping, thought leadership production, agency relationships, and measurement/reporting to drive PR impact across business and technical media.

As a Deployed Customer Engineer, you serve as a technical partner, implementing Couchbase solutions and collaborating with customers to achieve technical milestones and business outcomes. Responsibilities include coding, database architecture design, and troubleshooting deployment challenges.
