Own propulsion hardware and engine performance from requirements and architecture through procurement, integration, testing, flight, and operational deployment. Leads multidisciplinary mission-systems teams developing autonomous military aircraft capabilities. Establishes technical strategy, roadmaps, investments, and organizational priorities; oversees integrated architectures, operational analysis, modeling, simulation, trade studies, integration, testing, certification, flight test, fielding, and sustainment. Partners with engineering, program, product, customers, operators, suppliers, and government stakeholders while developing organizational talent and ensuring safety, airworthiness, cybersecurity, security, and certification compliance.

Evaluates damaged and nonconforming aircraft hardware, develops repair and rework dispositions, creates technical instructions, and maintains configuration-controlled MRB records. Partners with engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainment teams on field returns, production escapes, supplier issues, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions. Identifies recurring defects and improves inspection, repair, acceptance, and sustainment processes for unmanned aircraft systems.

Supports system-level safety engineering for the X-BAT aircraft platform by deriving and validating safety requirements, conducting hazard analyses, maintaining hazard tracking systems, developing certification evidence, and verifying mitigations. Collaborates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, airworthiness, responsible engineers, and DoD representatives on safety documentation, design reviews, risk assessments, mishap investigations, and readiness reviews.

Lead planning and execution of complex People Experience programs, drive change management and adoption, manage cross-functional stakeholder alignment, establish governance and reporting, and build scalable PX frameworks to improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

Architect and develop safety- and mission-critical real-time software for autonomous aircraft mission-computing systems. Define system architecture, interfaces, data flows, resource budgets, and deterministic performance strategies. Integrate sensors, communications, navigation, autonomy, and mission systems with hardware and systems teams. Lead verification across simulation, laboratory, flight-test, and deployed environments while supporting requirements traceability, certification, cybersecurity, resilience, and lifecycle technical ownership.

Software Engineer Interns design, build, test, and debug production-quality software for autonomous systems. Projects may involve applications, embedded flight software, firmware, machine learning, simulation, APIs, data pipelines, or cloud infrastructure. Interns analyze requirements, collaborate with engineers using Agile practices, and deliver real features or capabilities during a 10–12 week paid internship.
