Leads messaging and positioning for the V-BAT aircraft across missions, customer segments, and global markets. Translates aircraft and autonomy capabilities into differentiated value propositions, develops marketing and sales enablement materials, supports competitive analysis, partners with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams, creates thought leadership, and engages think tanks and policy organizations.

Lead and grow a mechanical systems team for the X-BAT jet-engine VTOL UAV, designing and integrating flight- and mission-critical mechanisms (doors, uplocks/downlocks, landing gear, actuation). Provide technical direction, set engineering quality standards, coordinate cross-functional integration, oversee builds and test campaigns, manage suppliers, and coach engineers through development and release.

Own integration across SIL/HIL/VIL and edge deployment, build reference implementations and tooling, support embedded hardware bring-up, debug Linux-based systems and hardware interfaces, and partner cross-functionally to improve stability, APIs, and scalability.

Customer-facing technical lead for Hivemind autonomy supporting demos, capture, RFIs/RFPs, and solution development. Translate mission needs into feasible autonomy and simulation solutions, engage cross-functionally, support customers, and inform product and engineering with field insights. Frequent customer travel and ability to obtain U.S. security clearance required.

Design, develop, and deploy mechanical test fixtures, stands, and integration tooling to validate X-BAT aircraft subsystems. Create CAD models and drawings, perform structural/thermal analyses, support environmental, vibration, and endurance testing, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test efficiency and hardware reliability.

Lead a multidisciplinary software test and automation team to define verification and validation strategies across simulation, SIL/HIL/VIL and operational environments. Build automated regression tests, validation frameworks, and CI/CD-integrated test infrastructure; establish software readiness criteria and metrics; coordinate with engineering, integration, and flight test teams; develop roadmaps and staffing plans; mentor engineers and present readiness and risk to leadership.

Lead strategy and execution to improve engineering effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery predictability. Build operating models, governance, metrics, and cadences; drive cross-functional initiatives (AI enablement, developer experience, technical governance); improve team effectiveness and organizational scaling.

Develop, integrate, and field autonomy software for expeditionary unmanned aircraft (V-BAT/X-BAT). Own features from software-in-the-loop to live flight tests, collaborate with aircraft and perception teams, lead technical integration, support field deployments and mission testing, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.

Develop, integrate, and field autonomy capabilities for novel platforms (space, maritime, unmanned helicopters). Own end-to-end integration from software- and hardware-in-the-loop to live tests, partner with platform and cross-functional teams, support on-site testing, debug hardware/software issues, document designs, and improve integration and testing processes.

Develop, integrate, and field autonomy software for launched effects platforms, owning features from design through live flight testing. Drive technical execution, collaborate with autonomy, perception, and vendor teams, support system bring-up and field operations, and implement C2 interoperability and deployment processes. Travel to tests and customer exercises to support mission execution and debugging.
