Senior Software Engineer joining Fetch’s Data Platform team to architect and evolve scalable data pipelines, governed data access, delivery infrastructure, and partner integrations. The role owns ambiguous technical problems, leads multi-system initiatives and migrations, improves reliability and engineering efficiency, shapes technical direction, collaborates across teams, and mentors engineers. Candidates need strong backend or platform engineering experience, data infrastructure knowledge, cross-team leadership, operational judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Own the strategy, governance, architecture, modeling, and reporting foundation for People Experience data. Build governed metrics, semantic and consolidated data layers, dashboards, data catalogs, quality monitoring, and operating processes from the ground up. Manage intake, prioritization, access, privacy, enablement, and self-service adoption while partnering with stakeholders on analytics and future AI capabilities. The role combines strategic program leadership with hands-on SQL, data modeling, reporting, and team mentoring.

Review user accounts and transactions to detect fraud using internal tools and SOPs. Make accurate, high-volume case decisions, escalate exceptions, meet productivity and quality KPIs, track time, and work weekends.

Lead a marketing analytics team to deliver acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation measurement. Own SQL-based analyses, experiments, audience strategies, dashboards, and incrementality methods. Translate business questions into analytical plans, partner cross-functionally, mentor analysts, and connect marketing activity to downstream outcomes like retention, revenue, and lifetime value.

Lead a team delivering product and business analytics for Fetch's commerce and shoppable experiences. Own prioritization, experimentation, measurement, KPI dashboards, and stakeholder-facing insights to inform product, marketing, and commercial decisions. Manage and develop analysts while partnering cross-functionally to ensure data quality, repeatable analyses, and actionable recommendations.

Own complex analyses and measurement frameworks for a product or business area. Design experiments and statistical/causal models, define and monitor KPIs, quantify impact, and translate findings into product and business recommendations. Partner cross-functionally, mentor junior analysts, and use tools like Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Spark, and AWS to scale analytics and ensure reproducibility and strong governance.

Lead and grow a team of ML engineers building production ML systems for Fetch's Ad Platform. Translate product strategy into roadmaps, guide design and implementation of models for ranking, targeting, bidding and forecasting, set metrics and experimentation, enforce architectural and operational standards, manage trade-offs across performance and reliability, and drive cross-functional alignment to improve advertiser and member outcomes.

Own complex sales cycles to acquire and grow strategic brand partnerships, using AI-driven tools for outreach, forecasting, and insights. Drive revenue, craft proposals, manage Salesforce, mentor peers, and collaborate cross-functionally to scale AI-enabled sales playbooks and processes.

Lead and grow a team focused on developer experience and internal platforms to improve engineering productivity. Define strategy, own CI/CD/build pipelines, tooling, local dev environments, observability, and automation. Partner across engineering, infra, security, SRE, product, and data to reduce friction, create golden paths, measure impact with delivery and reliability metrics, and drive adoption of AI-assisted developer workflows.

Lead company-level measurement and causal strategy, define MAU×ARPU metrics and semantic mart, set scientific standards for experimentation and analysis, own strategic models (MMM, elasticity, forecasting), partner with engineering to productionize analytics, and raise org-wide scientific maturity through governance, templates, and upskilling.
