The Security Sales Engineer will support the enterprise sales team, drive security product adoption, conduct demos, and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.

Lead and scale Datadog's Forward Deployed Engineering program: define operating model, build FDE offerings, hire and develop engineers, capture field product feedback, run lightweight engineering sprints to create reusable assets, and partner with Sales/SE/Customer Success to drive customer deployments and measure impact on adoption and ARR.

Targets and closes new business with Fortune 1000 and other strategic customers. Build AI-powered automation and program infrastructure to reduce manual coordination, synthesize risks, track dependencies, and streamline program lifecycles. Partner with senior engineering and product leaders using technical judgment across observability, infrastructure, data platforms, and AI/ML systems.

Sets application security direction and standards across engineering teams. Builds scalable security tooling, automation, and observability; leads threat modeling, risk assessments, code reviews, and multi-team remediation. Develops strategies for AI-powered systems and agentic development risks, API security, and software supply chain security. Partners with engineering and security teams, prioritizes investments, communicates risk to leadership, and mentors AppSec engineers.

Leads complex, cross-functional technical programs across engineering, product, and business teams. Identifies systemic risks and dependencies, drives executive visibility, and owns outcomes through completion. Designs AI-powered automation and self-executing program infrastructure to reduce coordination overhead, improve risk detection, and accelerate delivery. Requires strong technical credibility in observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML systems, along with senior-level communication and stakeholder influence.

Manage Datadog’s social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Responsibilities include maintaining the content calendar, creating social content, executing communications plans for launches and events, managing employee advocacy and newsletters, monitoring conversations, engaging audiences, analyzing performance, and delivering insights to executives. The role partners closely with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to refine social strategy and workflows.
