As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll drive net-new customer acquisition, manage sales cycles, and collaborate with technical leaders while achieving sales targets.

Serve as Datadog technical expert for channel partners: onboard, train, enable, and certify partner technical teams; support demos and proofs-of-value; align on joint business plans; advocate partner technical needs internally; analyze partner services and recommend adoption improvements; collaborate with product, engineering, and technical services to prioritize features and evolve platform best practices.

Lead and grow the Onboarding engineering team to deliver world-class first-time user experiences. Plan and staff projects, coach engineers, collaborate with product and design, build UX features, data platforms, and AI-assisted setup, and use analytics and experimentation to improve trial adoption and onboarding outcomes.

Serve as the subject-matter expert for Datadog Synthetics, advising enterprise customers on architecture, data collection, and best practices. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to produce reference architectures, implementation guides, training, and POCs. Drive customer adoption at scale, troubleshoot complex production issues, and provide high-quality field feedback to shape product direction. Travel up to 40% and occasionally perform on-site deployments and demonstrations.

Lead design and delivery of strategic talent programs for Engineering, including leadership development, career architecture, performance and talent review evolution, internal mobility, and succession planning. Partner with People Business Partners and senior leaders to define goals, drive adoption, measure impact with qualitative and quantitative data, and iterate on scalable people solutions.

Prospect, qualify, and generate leads through outbound outreach (cold calling/email). Schedule discovery meetings, collaborate cross-functionally, and learn sales methodologies to drive new business for Datadog.

Lead go-to-market strategy for Observability Pipelines: positioning, launches, analyst relations, sales enablement, and adoption. Partner cross-functionally to craft messaging, measure launch and adoption metrics, and drive competitive displacement and revenue.

The Account Executive will focus on acquiring new customers, managing the sales cycle, and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth.

Manage and mentor a team of Senior Project Managers delivering enterprise SaaS implementations. Own delivery quality, resolve escalations, partner with Sales/Customer Success/Technical Account Management, drive pre-sales scoping, and run customer engagements while improving delivery frameworks and tooling.

Implement and maintain NetSuite-based financial solutions and integrations (SuiteScript, Workflows). Manage enhancement projects, troubleshoot application/process issues, train end-users, and support integrations with Coupa, BlackLine, Adaptive Planning, Expensify, and Teampay.
