Partner with key business customers to optimize DigitalOcean cloud deployments, design architectures, troubleshoot technical challenges, drive retention and expansion, conduct business reviews, advocate for customer needs, and collaborate cross-functionally. The role also involves creating automation tools, delivering technical presentations and training, monitoring usage trends, and advising customers on cloud, AI/ML, cost, and performance optimization.

Serve as a technical partner to sales and customer success teams, advising high-value customers on cloud infrastructure and AI/ML solutions. Responsibilities include architecture reviews, proofs of concept, demos, onboarding, technical workshops, infrastructure optimization, LLM deployment and fine-tuning, GPU workload optimization, AI application design, data pipeline and database integration, escalations, documentation, and development of tools for premium customers. Collaborate globally with Engineering, Product, Support, and account teams.

Counsel DigitalOcean on datacenter and infrastructure transactions, including leasing, colocation, design/build, operations and maintenance, and procurement agreements for compute and power equipment. Negotiate contracts, advise on risk allocation and supplier performance, support international expansion, collaborate with procurement, engineering, finance, tax, and compliance teams, and create scalable contracting tools such as templates, playbooks, and approval matrices.

Negotiate and provide legal guidance on datacenter leases, colocation, design/build, facilities, operations and maintenance, and infrastructure procurement agreements. Partner with procurement, engineering, operations, finance, tax, compliance, and local counsel on transactions, risk allocation, international expansion, and supplier matters. Develop contracting templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and approval matrices while supporting other high-priority legal work.

Provide legal guidance for datacenter and infrastructure transactions, including leases, colocation, design-build, operations and maintenance, and hardware procurement agreements. Draft and negotiate contracts, advise on risk allocation and supplier performance, support international expansion, and create scalable legal tools such as templates and playbooks. Collaborate with procurement, engineering, operations, finance, tax, compliance, and senior leadership while managing complex projects with minimal oversight.

Provides legal counsel for datacenter and infrastructure transactions, including leases, colocation, design/build, operations and maintenance, and procurement agreements. Negotiates complex contracts, advises on risk and supplier performance, supports international expansion, and develops scalable legal contracting tools. Collaborates with procurement, engineering, operations, finance, tax, compliance, and senior leadership on infrastructure projects involving cloud computing and AI.

Negotiate and advise on datacenter leasing, colocation, design/build, operations and maintenance, and infrastructure procurement agreements. Partner with procurement, engineering, operations, finance, tax, and compliance teams on risk, supplier performance, international expansion, and infrastructure transactions. Develop scalable legal templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and approval matrices while supporting high-priority vendor and operations agreements.

Build and manage internal physical infrastructure capacity programs, from intake and forecasting through budgeting, procurement, hardware deployment, and reporting. Partner with infrastructure teams to plan bare-metal server capacity, track rack and power resources across data centers, and use observability data to identify bottlenecks. Create playbooks and dashboards, streamline infrastructure request processes, and coordinate stakeholders across Cloud Operations, procurement, and internal customers.

Manage end-to-end sourcing for global data center hardware, including supplier selection, relationship management, negotiations, RFPs and RFQs, cost optimization, lead-time improvement, delivery coordination, and supply continuity planning. Partner with legal teams and internal stakeholders to enforce category strategies, track supplier performance, and support large-scale hardware deployments.

Plan and optimize GPU capacity for DigitalOcean’s Serverless Instance offering. Analyze demand and utilization, allocate GPU servers across models, forecast infrastructure needs, and automate assignment decisions. Track rack and power capacity, coordinate physical deployments with data center, network, product, and delivery teams, optimize hardware placement, build dashboards, and escalate capacity risks before they affect availability or revenue.
