Leads AvidXchange’s Business Development and Sales Development organization of approximately 60 professionals. The role drives pipeline growth through outbound and inbound prospecting, builds scalable processes and playbooks, develops leaders, establishes performance metrics, and partners with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations. The Senior Director will transform the outbound pipeline motion, implement automation and AI-enabled technologies, optimize qualification processes, and support company revenue objectives.

Manage and grow relationships with suppliers, promote and onboard them onto AvidXchange payment and AP automation solutions, drive supplier adoption and satisfaction, meet sales or adoption targets, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve supplier issues.

Develop full life-cycle applications within Agile teams: translate requirements into features, write and optimize secure code, design to architecture standards, create unit tests, and debug/resolve software issues to ensure performance and security.

Perform outbound prospecting, build relationships, qualify leads, and set meetings to drive new business opportunities while representing AvidXchange's AP automation solutions.

Make outbound calls to finance decision-makers to generate interest, qualify leads, opt-in prospects, and schedule introductory meetings for the Sales team. Meet daily call and opportunity quotas, support multiple sales channels, and collaborate with Marketing and Sales.
