Evaluates, selects, orders, installs, upgrades, maintains, and supports semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Studies equipment performance and reliability, develops uptime and problem-resolution programs, monitors manufacturer updates and safety issues, and establishes preventative maintenance schedules. Provides technical support to equipment repair and process engineering teams while applying semiconductor manufacturing, SPC, vacuum, monitoring software, and cleanroom expertise.

Responsibilities include process and equipment startup, lot and equipment dispositions, yield and efficiency improvements, data analysis, troubleshooting, project execution, training junior staff, and collaboration across fab teams. The engineer will support rapidly changing manufacturing operations and develop processes from initial conception through high-volume production.

Develop and improve CMP and wet manufacturing processes in a semiconductor fab. Support daily manufacturing execution, tool recovery, installations, qualifications, excursion containment, material disposition, process experiments, and ramp activities. Analyze data, resolve process and equipment issues, improve yield, efficiency, quality, and cost, and create operational best practices and documentation. Train technicians and junior colleagues while collaborating across teams to address changing fab priorities.

Drive semiconductor manufacturing process improvement for CMP, wet, and YE process tools in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab. Responsibilities include qualifying new equipment, maximizing tool capabilities, improving yield and efficiency, executing startup and process experiments, performing lot and equipment dispositions, analyzing data, resolving process and equipment issues, implementing improvement projects, and training junior staff and technicians. Requires cross-functional collaboration and support for rapidly changing manufacturing priorities.

Develop business plans, marketing strategies, forecasts, positioning, and messaging for automotive radar semiconductor products. Own customer opportunities from demand creation through evaluation, design-in, and revenue management. Build customer and account relationships, assess competitive landscapes, identify adjacent markets, coordinate product lifecycle marketing, support customer engagements, and drive cross-functional actions across engineering, sales, applications, pricing, and operations teams.

Select, install, maintain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Monitor equipment performance and reliability, define preventative maintenance schedules, support repair and process engineering, and implement uptime and reliability programs to optimize production.

Lead data-driven defect-limited yield analysis across analog and mixed-signal products. Triage defect excursions, perform root-cause analysis, define inspection sampling, build predictive yield models correlating defect density with electrical test results, and partner across Process, Product, Integration, Equipment, and Quality teams to implement corrective actions and virtual metrology.
