Leads engineering teams supporting offshore installation vessel projects, including rigid and flexible pipeline installation, subsea equipment, structures, diving, remediation, and inspection work. Oversees structural and mechanical design, analyses, procedures, specifications, calculations, testing, technical documentation, risk reviews, and client interfaces. Coordinates engineering schedules and deliverables, approves designs and technical reports, and provides offshore and subcontractor oversight. Manage technical aspects of offshore umbilical design and manufacturing projects. Lead cross-functional teams to produce specifications, manufacturing documentation, test plans, design reports, and support manufacturing/testing. Interface with internal and external stakeholders, drive process improvements, perform engineering calculations, and support 24/7 operations as needed. Occasional travel required.

Design, validate, and manage hardened network architectures for air-gapped robotic systems. Lead troubleshooting, testing, trade studies, and small multi-discipline teams. Produce CDRLs, support factory/offsite/offshore testing, and present results to stakeholders.

Lead implementation of software safety programs for underwater robotic/autonomous vehicles per MIL-STD-882. Produce safety plans and assessments, perform hazard analyses, track coverage metrics, catalog safety artifacts, review software independently, and present findings at reviews and customer meetings. Coordinate across programs and support demanding schedules with occasional travel.

Design, develop, and test high-power motor controls, drives, rectifiers, and power conversion systems. Lead subsystems, mentor engineers, perform hands-on assembly/testing, and collaborate across mechanical, software, and systems teams for US government and naval projects.

Lead hands-on data engineering and architecture for a classified on-prem Analytics Core: build ETL/ELT pipelines, clean and model 30 years of multi-modal and geospatial data, integrate ESRI spatial data, establish AI/ML feature standards, enforce DoD-aligned governance, and mentor transitioning staff to operationalize the solution.

Create layout, assembly, and detail mechanical drawings for underwater electromechanical systems using SolidWorks. Develop original designs, validate models, prepare engineering drawings, support analysis exports, interface with customers, perform ship/site checks, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure producibility. May require occasional travel and overtime.

Perform RAM and FMECA/FMEA analyses, develop fault trees and reliability predictions, support maintainability and logistics analyses, produce reliability growth test plans, contribute to systems engineering documentation, advise design engineers on R&M shortfalls, and present results to management and clients.
