Owns hardware development from concept through fabrication, integration, and testing while collaborating with manufacturing, supply chain, test, suppliers, and customers. The role requires hands-on prototyping, mechanical assembly, CAD, PLM, and testing under vibration, fatigue, shock, vacuum, and thermal conditions.

The Build Engineer will plan projects, collaborate on design, lead hardware delivery, and run test procedures for flight hardware in a high-speed aircraft manufacturing setting.

Manage the maintenance, refurbishment, and overhaul of F100 engines, collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality propulsion system performance.

Serve as legal partner for subcontracts and supply chain: draft, review, and negotiate high-volume supplier agreements; ensure FAR/DFARS/OTA flowdowns and export control compliance; build playbooks, templates, and SOPs; support programs, trade compliance, dispute resolution, and leadership with pragmatic risk analysis.

Design and develop complex aerospace mechanisms and mechanical systems for high-speed aircraft. Perform stress, fatigue, kinematics, FEA, and simulation analyses; oversee prototyping and testing; select materials and manufacturing processes; collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams; document designs and test results; mentor junior engineers; and contribute to aerospace research and development.

Develop and maintain embedded flight software for aircraft flight control, navigation, communication, and avionics systems. Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers on integration, requirements, design, testing, simulations, debugging, and safety-critical software documentation. Participate in code and design reviews while ensuring performance, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Support learning initiatives by managing LMS, creating content, coordinating training, facilitating sessions, and evaluating program effectiveness.
