Supports Tribal finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payment requests, check preparation, journal entries, revenue reporting, credit card reconciliation, payroll, grant drawdowns, cash communications, membership databases, and audit preparation. Performs reception and general office duties as needed while maintaining confidentiality, accurate records, and professional communication with staff, vendors, and tribal members.

The Finance Director leads accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, internal controls, audits, payroll, grants administration, and compliance for publicly funded programs. The role supervises finance staff, manages federal and other grant requirements, oversees fiscal systems and policies, prepares financial and variance reports, supports financial planning, and ensures expenditures comply with GAAP, GASB, OMB guidelines, grant restrictions, and organizational policies.
