Big Sandy Rancheria
Big Sandy Rancheria is the tribal government of the San Joaquin (Big Sandy) Band of Western Mono Indians in Auberry, California. It administers the Rancheria and community programs through departments such as social services, housing and transportation, education, and environmental services, while overseeing enterprises that include Mono Wind Casino and BSR Fuel Distribution. The Bureau of Indian Affairs purchased the land in trust for the tribe in 1909.
