The Project Accountant manages project financials throughout the project lifecycle, including job costing, budgets, billing, forecasting, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role supports month-end close, prepares journal entries, monitors project performance, and partners with project managers, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and sales teams. Responsibilities also include ERP project setup, accounts payable and receivable, subcontractor compliance, change orders, inventory adjustments, and contract administration.

Serves as the enterprise technical authority for low- and medium-voltage switchboards, switchgear, RMUs, bus systems, and distribution assemblies. Develops electrical design standards, breaker configurations, protection coordination and arc-flash requirements, and ensures NEC, UL, and IEEE compliance. Partners with Product Engineering to standardize modular power platforms, reviews equipment designs, supports manufacturing and installation scalability, and contributes to value engineering. The role also supports energization and commissioning in mission-critical or industrial environments.

Leads and enforces stored energy isolation and LOTO programs for mission-critical infrastructure projects. Develops isolation plans and procedures, verifies implementation, coordinates with engineering and construction teams, investigates incidents, reviews high-risk work documentation, validates worker qualifications and PPE compliance, and reports project compliance. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, and thermal energy systems in data center environments.

Coordinates HR process and project governance activities, including documentation, repositories, meetings, action tracking, project plans, portfolio reporting, process discovery, continuous improvement, and implementation support. Maintains project records, templates, dashboards, and operating tools while collaborating with HR stakeholders and following up on milestones, risks, decisions, and deliverables.

Supports senior executives as a strategic and proactive partner by managing complex calendars, communications, travel, expenses, meeting preparation, stakeholder coordination, action tracking, and confidential information. Anticipates needs, resolves operational gaps, facilitates cross-functional initiatives, and improves executive effectiveness while operating independently in a fast-paced environment.

Performs field inspections, testing, and quality verification for electrical equipment and systems in mission-critical environments. Develops inspection and test plans, conducts root cause analyses, drives corrective actions, manages QA documentation, audits suppliers and subcontractors, supports installation and commissioning, and provides technical guidance to inspectors and technicians. The role requires compliance with electrical, engineering, and quality standards and involves 100% travel.

Provides remote and in-person technical support for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, workstations, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues. Maintains and deploys devices, manages inventory, supports ConnectWise solutions, collaborates with cybersecurity teams, documents resolutions, develops training materials, accommodates accessibility needs, and follows up with users to ensure satisfactory service.

Supports enterprise software integrations, SQL database development, data flows, APIs, scheduled jobs, system connectivity, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and production support. Partners with technical and business stakeholders to resolve data issues, improve interoperability, support migrations and implementations, and maintain secure, governed, reliable data movement across enterprise systems.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual, stand-alone, and consolidated financial reporting. Ensure GAAP compliance, manage technical accounting matters, coordinate external audits, prepare financial statement footnotes, strengthen internal controls and SOX readiness, improve reporting systems and automation, and lead accounting team members. Partner with accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, HR, project accounting, and operations teams across a construction and manufacturing environment.

Conducts electrical system inspections, develops QA test protocols and acceptance criteria, investigates nonconformances, performs root cause analysis, implements corrective actions, maintains quality documentation, audits suppliers, supports ISO 9001 compliance, and trains QA technicians on electrical inspection and safety practices.
