The Contract Recruiter manages full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding, and talent pipeline development. They partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders, coordinate job fairs, track recruiting metrics in the ATS, ensure employment-law compliance, support high-volume hiring, and promote the employer brand. The role is based in an office within a manufacturing facility.

Serve as a strategic HR business partner at an industrial packaging plant. Manage employee relations investigations, training and organizational development, workforce and succession planning, policy interpretation, workers’ compensation, safety compliance, performance management, benefits, and wage administration. Advise managers, support employee engagement and retention, ensure employment-law compliance, and provide Mandarin bilingual communication across teams. Track staffing, retention, safety, workers’ compensation, training, and engagement KPIs.

Provides first-line IT support for internal users in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, network, desktop, mobile, and connectivity issues; managing accounts and permissions; configuring operating systems and applications; maintaining IT asset records; documenting incidents; meeting SLAs; and training users on IT tools and best practices.

Manage third-party warehouse shipments, ocean and international exports, inventory transactions, warehouse and carrier vendors, routing, claims, forecasting, KPI performance, and freight costs. Lead team performance and collaborate with procurement, sales, customer service, and headquarters to optimize warehouse strategy, inventory accuracy, export contract fulfillment, delivery performance, and transportation expenses.

Build and manage daily corrugator and converting production schedules to maximize utilization, reduce setups and waste, and meet customer commitments. Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, Shipping, Maintenance, and Quality regarding capacity, downtime, expedites, reworks, and shipping priorities. Maintain accurate order and production data in KIWI, track scheduling KPIs, analyze run lengths and fragmentation, and report trends and improvement opportunities to the General Manager. The role is primarily onsite at a corrugated box plant with daily production-floor presence.

Optimize pulp and paper manufacturing processes, reduce costs, improve quality and efficiency, troubleshoot production issues, support new product development, run mill trials, and collaborate with production crews and cross-functional teams. The role requires working safely in an industrial mill environment, supporting continuous improvement, and participating in rotating on-call and weekend coverage.

Provides electrical and instrumentation engineering for mill capital projects, including drawings, capital expenditure requests, equipment purchasing, project oversight, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive and predictive maintenance. Conducts mill inspections, supports technicians during equipment installation and startup, maintains electrical and instrumentation documentation, and advises on computing networks and user authentication. Requires emergency, weekend, holiday, and downtime coverage, extensive walking and climbing, and adherence to electrical safety standards.

Drives revenue and profitability by developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and building customer relationships. Generates leads, manages sales pipelines and plans, provides market and competitive insights, protects margins, and supports order fulfillment and issue resolution. Requires knowledge of corrugated packaging products and converting processes, collaboration with customer service, and frequent local customer travel.
