Maintain general ledger and subledgers for multiple entities, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for month- and year-end close. Review statements, research accounts, assist audits, process daily banking, recommend process improvements and automate reconciliations, and respond to accounting inquiries while meeting reporting deadlines.

Lead daily accounting operations across GL, AP, AR, billing, and driver settlements; supervise and develop accounting staff; coordinate month-end and year-end close; review reconciliations and journals; strengthen internal controls; support multi-entity financial reporting, audits, tax schedules, and process improvements.

Analyze terminal-level transportation and financial data to improve profitability, asset utilization, and routing. Build standardized performance reports, identify root causes of variances, recommend asset redeployment, and provide executive decision support and summaries to terminal leadership to drive data-driven operational improvements.

Provide administrative support to compliance managers for trucking operations: track expirations, audit road and fuel tax, manage ELD issuance and tracking, handle title work, invoicing, PPE inventory, maintain equipment/driver files, perform audits and follow-ups, use TMW and Motive, and interact professionally with drivers, customers, and carriers.

Develop new and existing sales opportunities for trucking and material management, coordinate with President and Operations to capture sales details, plan launches, forecast performance, remediate service/pricing issues, and travel to industry events, customer facilities and terminals while representing the company professionally.
