Designs and improves direct digital controls for HVAC air-handling products. Responsibilities include controls strategy, electrical schematics, bills of materials, programming, prototyping, testing, production transitions, troubleshooting, quality improvement, vendor and component evaluation, technical support, documentation, training, and cross-functional project participation. The role also provides mentoring, investigates returned-product failures, supports job-site issues, and develops corrective actions and new procedures.

Manage and grow an assigned sales territory by achieving sales, order volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Develop customer relationships, identify new business, promote ventilation products, prepare CAPS quotes, resolve customer issues, support design specifications, and collaborate with engineering, purchasing, inside sales, and business-unit teams. Attend trade shows and customer meetings, travel more than 25% within the territory, and support contract negotiations and technical applications.

Design, develop, and maintain complex full-stack applications interfacing with enterprise platforms. Collaborate with analysts and users to define requirements, produce technical specifications, unit test, document solutions, troubleshoot issues, and support deployments. Recommend frameworks/methodologies and create application, installation, and training documentation. Provide UX/wireframing input when needed.

Lead product roadmap and application training for HVAC products, provide advanced technical support, resolve complex application issues, manage and develop the applications/support team, coordinate cross-functional strategy, monitor competition and pricing, build rep and sales channel relationships, and support sales forecasts and budgeting.

Design, test, and support controls for HVAC products: develop controls designs and BOMs, validate control strategies, support prototyping and production transitions, provide technical support, document changes, and participate in cross-functional engineering projects.

Serve as a technical partner to sales, providing advanced application support, troubleshooting (including onsite), custom solution design, trainings, bid analysis, account growth, competitor/market insights, and cross-functional leadership. May mentor others and supervise team members.

Provide application support and configuration, troubleshoot incidents and performance issues, maintain and modify code, perform unit testing, document solutions, train users, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable operation of distributed/cloud-based applications.
