Directs the LCMS video production department, supervises a two-person team and external production talent, and oversees video projects from conception through delivery. Responsibilities include strategic planning, on-location production, digital media archiving, equipment and facility management, budgeting, project scheduling, client consultation, and online video strategy. The role supports news, documentary, promotional, training, missionary, and fundraising content, including national and international assignments.

Manage integrated marketing campaigns and growth initiatives to increase Foundation awareness and attract and retain gift-planning donors. Partner with the Gift Planning team, develop campaign strategies and calendars, support events, administer HubSpot marketing and CRM tools, analyze campaign performance, maintain marketing data, and ensure communications align with brand standards. The role also requires cross-functional coordination, copywriting, proofreading, reporting, and multi-channel marketing execution.

Manage and oversee payroll operations for multiple entities (domestic and international), ensure tax and regulatory compliance, maintain payroll accounting and reconciliations, lead payroll staff, manage payroll systems and vendors, support audits and reporting, and collaborate with HR and accounting stakeholders.

Lead and implement strategies to cultivate and secure major transformational gifts, supervise Transformative Giving staff, collaborate with MADV leadership, develop budgets, steward high-capacity donors, recruit and mentor team members, and represent the Synod to internal and external stakeholders to expand mission funding.

Provide regional financial and operational leadership: prepare and manage multi‑year budgets, develop reporting tools, manage regional accounting systems and assets, support regional director and partners, train staff, ensure compliance, and enable program implementation. Travel up to 20%.

Manage and oversee translation projects and missionary support activities: develop translation roadmaps, secure permissions, identify and manage translators and contracts, coordinate deadlines and distribution, support cross-cultural ministry training and sustainability planning, maintain donor communication, and collaborate with regional leadership to implement strategy.

Develop and manage regional communications for LCMS International Mission in Asia: raise support, produce monthly newsletters, cover events (photo/video), draft and edit articles, create presentation materials, ensure brand-aligned messaging, support donor reporting, complete missionary training and language acquisition, and collaborate with LCMS Communications. Travel up to 25%.

Provide regional leadership for LCMS mission work in Asia: develop and manage witness and mercy ministries, oversee regional staff and missionaries, ensure theological and financial integrity, build partnerships, manage regional budget, advise Synod leadership, and represent the LCMS in inter-church relations.

Provide strategic leadership for LCMS School Ministry: develop resources and programs (NLSA, LSCS, SLED), manage budget and staff, coordinate with districts and partners, expand networks via events and training, collect and report school data, and promote Lutheran education.

Make daily telephone contact with donors, prospects, congregations and clergy to solicit and acknowledge gifts, answer inquiries, update donor records, log interactions, and escalate issues to supervisory staff.
