Envirotest is hosting a job fair (June 30) to hire full-time Assistant Managers and 2nd Assistant Managers for multiple Maryland stations. Applicants must be 18+ with a valid Maryland driver’s license. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted; positions include benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life).

Assist the Station Manager in daily operations of the vehicle emissions inspection station, including troubleshooting, cash handling, scheduling, opening/closing, customer relations, safety, and assuming manager duties in their absence.

Manage daily operations of an emissions inspection station ensuring regulatory, contractual, and safety compliance. Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, cash handling, facility maintenance, staff development, QA certification maintenance, and occasionally perform lane operations and district support.

Manage day-to-day HR functions across the employee lifecycle including employee relations, investigations, leave and workers' compensation administration, benefits support, compliance and reporting (OSHA, EEO, BLS). Partner with program leaders across multiple states, support training delivery, analyze HR data, and assist Senior HR Director on policy and system improvements. Travel up to 5%.

Assist the Station Manager running a Maryland vehicle emissions inspection facility: oversee daily operations, troubleshoot equipment, handle cash, support scheduling, open/close facility, ensure customer and employee safety, and act as manager in their absence.

Provide administrative support for station and inspector programs: coordinate and schedule training, verify documentation, maintain records and web-based inspector profiles, assist with billing reconciliation, support QA and continuous improvement, respond to station inquiries, and handle logistical and clerical tasks.

Administer multi-state employee leave programs, workers' compensation, OSHA/EEO/BLS reporting, unemployment claims, HRIS reporting and recordkeeping, and support HR compliance and audits.

Manage daily station operations and staff to meet budget and safety standards. Handle customer complaints and remitter/payment processing, prepare reports, ensure facility maintenance, perform waiver vehicle inspections per IEPA, maintain quality assurance, train and evaluate employees, and provide travel support to other stations as needed.
