Lead mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and validation of product assemblies from concept through launch. Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, and customers, execute validation strategies, perform tolerance/strength analysis, and support proposals and technical decisions. Design, develop, test, and improve electrical and control systems for chillers. Create schematics, PLC/HMI code, panels, BOMs, and manufacturing docs. Support UL certification, perform DFMEA and risk assessments, commission and troubleshoot systems, and collaborate across mechanical, manufacturing, and field teams to ensure reliability and manufacturability.

Lead design, implementation, and documentation of controls systems for automated equipment. Mentor and train junior controls engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, support quoting, ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget, perform machine debug/power-up/validation, and document machine changes and issues.

Design, architect, and deploy enterprise Ignition 8.x SCADA solutions (Perspective/Vision/Gateway); develop complex queries and database integrations; lead coding standards, code reviews, and version control; commission systems, run FAT/SAT, troubleshoot production issues, implement HA/DR, and deliver client training; advise on cybersecurity (ISA/IEC 62443) and IT/OT network design.

Design, program, and troubleshoot electrical control systems and PLC/HMI for automotive test machines. Provide technical support, start-up assistance, installation coordination, BOMs and electrical prints, train junior engineers, and communicate with customers and teams while managing multiple projects.
