DISHER is seeking an intermediate level Industrial Engineer to support a 2-year project with our customer team in the Medical Device industry.

What you will get to do
- Execute welding engineering tasks aligned with build schedules and manufacturing milestones.
- Support development, qualification, and documentation of production welding processes.
- Assist with technical reviews, feasibility assessments, and readiness activities for welded subassemblies.
- Troubleshoot production issues, including process deviations, equipment concerns, and material inconsistencies.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for weld-related defects or quality issues.
- Maintain weld procedures, parameters, and documentation under engineering guidance.
- Provide day-to-day support to operators and technicians across multiple welding stations or lines
- Respond promptly to weld engineering requests across product lines.
- Balance multiple tasks while following welding engineering team direction.
- Ensure consistent application of welding standards, parameters, and safety protocols across all supported lines.
- Follow technical guidance from welding engineers and contribute to engineering discussions as appropriate.
- Proactively communicate status updates, risks, and emerging issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and quality engineering.
- Adhere to internal welding standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes (e.g., AWS, ISO) as directed.
- Support quality inspections and documentation, including weld symbol interpretation, visual inspection, and process verification.
- Maintain accurate records of work, weld trials, and process adjustments.
