Lead purchased services and contracting across the healthcare system: negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, drive cost savings, and support strategic supply chain goals.

Provide legal counsel to MUHA hospitals and affiliates: draft, review, and negotiate contracts; interpret federal and state healthcare laws and regulations; advise on clinical, patient-care, and regulatory matters; manage subpoenas, depositions, and legal proceedings; collaborate with executive leadership and Director of Managed Care; ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, Medicare/Medicaid, and state regulations.

Provide senior-level data engineering for analytics: resolve complex technical issues, build decision-support reports and dashboards, lead projects, prepare and integrate data, coach staff, and ensure high-quality analytics to support academic, research, and healthcare goals.

Lead discovery, prioritize AI opportunities, and manage lifecycle of AI solutions from incubation to enterprise production. Supervise a small team of Jr. data scientists/ML engineers, ensure production readiness, governance, ROI measurement, and stakeholder adoption across clinical and operational areas.
