The role coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, sales, and customers to deliver competitive solutions and improve product-line performance. Travel of 30%–40% and onsite work in Schaumburg, Illinois are required.

Supports assigned product lines through technical assistance, customer and sales support, quotations, training, documentation, reporting, and product analysis. The role coordinates with distributors, regional sales managers, German product teams, engineering, purchasing, and production. It also contributes to product development, stocking coordination, continual improvement, and assigned projects while serving as a liaison between customers, sales, and manufacturing. The position is onsite in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Support and optimize production assembly and test methods; develop tooling drawings, floor layouts and manufacturing cells; establish acceptance criteria via preproduction runs; assist vendor selection and quality in work instructions and procedures; provide technical support, blueprint interpretation, and apply APQP and GD&T principles to improve manufacturability and cost targets.

Manage day-to-day U.S. import compliance for fluid power components: review entries, ISFs, and post-entry corrections; maintain HTS classifications and country-of-origin determinations; calculate duties and landed costs; support CBP audits and recordkeeping; coordinate with brokers, purchasing, logistics, and suppliers; monitor regulatory changes and develop audit-ready compliance procedures.

Plan and publish organic social content, produce and edit short-form video, manage community engagement, update website CMS, support paid media and CRM-driven outreach, and analyze performance to recommend optimizations.

Provide technical product support, recommend HYDAC product replacements, assist customers with selection/configuration, prepare quotes, communicate pricing and delivery, coordinate with product divisions, customer service, and sales, and support targeted sales/marketing outreach.

Provide technical product engineering support for the filter product line: design and develop drawings and BOMs, perform hydraulic/stress/kinematic analyses, support testing and quality, liaise with sales, manufacturing, vendors, and materials to ensure manufacturability and product acceptance.

Lead development and integration of vehicle-level electrohydraulic and electronic control systems. Capture customer requirements, propose system architectures, perform system FMEAs and functional safety analysis, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to design, install, debug, and validate advanced vehicle systems, and support sales and product divisions with technical proposals and VoC.
