Top Tech Jobs & Startup Jobs

Design and ship product experiences across Ironsite’s customer platform, computer vision interfaces, internal labeling tools, wearable hardware field experience, data visualizations, and design system. Partner with founders, engineering, and construction crews to prototype rapidly, improve trust in AI outputs, and create usable tools for superintendents, craft workers, and annotation teams.

Leads the entire engineering organization, owning technical strategy, architecture, delivery, hiring, org design, engineering standards, and scaling from roughly 30 to over 100 engineers. Partners with the CTO, founders, product, hardware, and research teams while remaining hands-on through weekly code contributions, reviews, and architectural decisions. Oversees platform, mobile, infrastructure, and cross-functional engineering execution, ensuring reliable systems that scale from thousands to hundreds of thousands of devices.

Develop and own production firmware for ruggedized wearable camera devices. Responsibilities include embedded software, sensor and camera pipelines, ISP tuning, on-device intelligence, OTA updates, provisioning, telemetry, reliability, power optimization, hardware bring-up, manufacturing tests, and field debugging. The engineer collaborates across hardware, manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, and AI teams to deliver scalable, high-quality devices from silicon bring-up through volume production.

Build and deploy software integrations, data pipelines, internal tools, and reporting systems connecting Ironsite’s platform with construction customers’ systems. Embed regularly at active jobsites, collaborate with field operators and superintendents, map construction data to work breakdown structures and cost codes, and own solutions from discovery through production. The role requires strong general engineering skills, autonomy, customer communication, and frequent domestic travel in active construction environments.

Build and scale Ironsite’s construction technology platform, including labor management tools, craftsworker mobile experiences, third-party integrations, APIs, dashboards, reporting systems, and internal AI labeling tooling. Develop reliable full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS while supporting high-volume data, low-connectivity environments, multilingual experiences, and enterprise construction workflows.

Build and evolve core customer-facing and internal platform UI, maintain a cohesive design system, prototype and ship polished interactions and features, and collaborate with design and engineering to improve product quality.

Research Scientist developing vision-language models for construction-site intelligence. Responsibilities include training and evaluating deep learning models, building video and multimodal benchmarks, designing real-world performance metrics, and deploying optimized models to edge, on-premises, and cloud environments. The role involves end-to-end experimentation, long-context video reasoning, post-training, inference optimization, production feedback analysis, and collaboration with research, infrastructure, and hardware teams.

Own supply chain planning and materials management for Ironsite’s hardware, including demand forecasting, MRP, inventory optimization, production scheduling, ERP workflows, and contract manufacturer coordination. Build scalable S&OP and supply chain processes from the ground up, manage BOM and supplier data, support NPI and production ramps, track operational KPIs, and mitigate supply risks as the company scales from thousands to hundreds of thousands of devices.

Build and operate infrastructure connecting ruggedized wearable devices, edge networks, cloud systems, video pipelines, and AI compute environments. Develop petabyte-scale ingestion and storage, edge and cloud VLM inference, research compute orchestration, automated reporting, privacy controls, and fleet observability. Solve challenging networking, data transport, storage, distributed systems, hardware-software integration, and multi-environment ML infrastructure problems while scaling construction video processing to millions of hours.

Own the electrical architecture of ruggedized wearable hardware from concept through volume production. Design multilayer PCBs, power and battery systems, high-speed interfaces, and integrated optical, wireless, IMU, audio, and environmental sensors. Lead hardware bring-up, validation, signal integrity, manufacturing testing, DFM, DFT, and production ramp while collaborating with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and industrial design teams.
