Designs and evaluates large-scale, multi-vendor fiber access networks using advanced PON technologies. Integrates OLT/ONT platforms with core routing, IP/MPLS backbones, and optical transport. Reviews high-level designs, migration strategies, and technical specifications; supports client RFPs, troubleshooting, and engineering advisory work. Mentors junior engineers, coordinates with vendors and clients, and produces high-quality technical deliverables while managing project budgets, timelines, and billable engagements.

Creates fiber assignments, schematics, and high- and low-level designs while interpreting telecom maps and construction diagrams. Coordinates with project managers, permitting teams, and field personnel to deliver accurate designs on schedule and according to client and company standards.

Leads JSI’s Broadband Network Engineering practice, managing managers and senior engineers, delivery quality, utilization, margins, staffing, technical standards, and team development. Serves as an executive advisor to strategic broadband clients across fiber, optical transport, routing and switching, RF, and voice infrastructure. Represents the practice in escalations and contract discussions while supporting proposals, pricing, business development, client retention, and revenue growth.

Lead and manage OSP FTTH design projects, directing engineers and CAD/GIS technicians to deliver high- and low-level designs, field verification/staking, permitting, and as-built plans on schedule and budget. Coordinate with clients, construction teams, and stakeholders, provide status updates, manage risks, and ensure design alignment and quality.

Consult with broadband and telecom clients to analyze business processes, recommend improvements, lead cross-functional projects, develop presentations and workshops, and manage client relationships while supporting up to 20% travel.
