The HSE Coordinator supports implementation of the Geochemistry HSE Management System across U.S. sample preparation operations. Responsibilities include risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and reporting, recordkeeping, compliance action plans, leading risk-reduction projects, and providing practical HSE guidance while maintaining field presence and travel to sites.

Lead design and execution of ALS's US compliance framework. Provide practical compliance, privacy and regulatory guidance to business leaders; conduct risk and privacy impact assessments; design and test controls; manage incidents and investigations; run monitoring and audit programs; deliver training; maintain compliance registers and reporting for management, executive and Board audiences.

Serve as primary client contact delivering accurate information on analytical methods, quotations, and turnaround times; manage client inquiries, coordinate special requests and approvals, maintain client/project data in GEMS, compile service metrics, support internal communication and trade show attendance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, prepare complex journal entries, support month- and year-end close, produce financial reports compliant with GAAP/IFRS, coordinate audits, analyze variances, and drive accounting process improvements and system automation.

The Metals Analyst conducts instrumental analysis of environmental samples using various technologies, prepares standards, troubleshoots systems, maintains documentation, and ensures quality control in a laboratory environment.
