Serves as a technical expert in process engineering, supporting manufacturing operations and improvement initiatives. Evaluates production problems, develops and updates work instructions and procedures, removes non-value-added process elements, creates CAD layouts to optimize workflow and material flow, resolves quality issues with supervisors, and participates in Kaizen and 5S continuous improvement events. The role involves working around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, vibration, and moving mechanical parts, with typical 10-hour workdays and possible overtime.

Leads marine seating and upholstery projects from concept through production launch. Manages timelines, budgets, customer expectations, prototypes, validation, engineering documentation, BOMs, supplier coordination, and launch readiness. Develops manufacturable seating systems, foam components, and interior products while driving quality, cost, efficiency, tooling, fixture, and process improvements. Supports production ramp-up, project reviews, customer engagement, and technical business development.

Designs, documents, tests, and oversees fabrication of production mold reinforcement, assembly jigs, fixtures, and vessel tooling. Develops tolerances, process controls, bills of materials, cost estimates, and process instructions. Audits tooling, coordinates with project teams, supports production issue resolution, and provides direction and training to shop and launch personnel. Ensures schedules, milestones, safety requirements, and quality standards are met.

Designs, builds, operates, and modernizes enterprise data pipelines, integrations, and Microsoft Fabric platform capabilities. Develops Python, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake solutions; supports ERP, CRM, dealer, manufacturing, and SaaS integrations; and maintains legacy ETL, stored procedures, middleware, and linked-server processes. Ensures reliability through testing, validation, monitoring, reconciliation, incident response, documentation, and CI/CD practices. Collaborates across technical and business teams while providing technical guidance and supporting critical production issues.

Develops, optimizes, documents, and supports manufacturing processes for boats and marine components. Responsibilities include improving fiberglass, composite, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing processes; troubleshooting production issues; supporting NPI and ramp-ups; conducting root cause analysis; reducing waste and cycle time; specifying equipment and tooling; maintaining compliance with ISO, ABYC, and marine standards; analyzing KPIs; and training production personnel.

Supports category and supplier strategy, sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, onboarding, cost savings, and supply chain risk mitigation. Analyzes market, supplier, cost, and business data; collaborates with engineering and internal stakeholders; prepares RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs; presents sourcing recommendations; maintains supplier information; and tracks sourcing projects through completion.

Hands-on process engineer responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows in boat production. Lead continuous improvement and capital projects, document SOPs, analyze production data, mentor teams, run Kaizen events, support quality audits and design-for-manufacturability to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost.

Lead design and development of next-generation boats from concept through production, build and develop a high-performing engineering team, drive execution against milestones, improve manufacturability and handoffs to production, partner with operations, quality, supply chain and customer service, and implement structured product development processes to raise product quality and on-time delivery.
