Oversees the company’s accounting operation, including financial reporting, budgeting, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, credit evaluation, collections, audits, and financial analysis. The role supports the Plant Controller, documents processes, performs ad hoc Excel analysis, and collaborates with plant management. Provides customer support and administrative assistance in a manufacturing and distribution environment. Enters orders into production and customer systems, maintains spreadsheets and files, runs reports, prepares shipping documents and labels, coordinates pickup appointments, and communicates customer requirements. The role requires product and costing knowledge, regular customer travel, sample loading and unloading, clear communication, basic business mathematics, and compliance with company policies. Performance is assessed through sales and service results, professional growth, employee relations, and creativity.

Leads and supports the customer support team while analyzing customer service activity and producing reports, presentations, and actionable insights. Performs data entry, maintains spreadsheets and customer files, manages production orders, labels, shipping documentation, shipment appointments, customer portals, and bills of lading. Communicates with customers, production employees, and management in a manufacturing and distribution center environment.

Serves as the company’s first point of contact by answering phones, greeting and directing visitors, distributing mail, managing outgoing shipments, and maintaining confidential records.
