Provide confidential administrative support to three area managers: manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, route digital paperwork, maintain personnel records, coordinate travel and conferences, assist with recruitments, purchase supplies, and handle multiple priorities in an office/hybrid environment.

Support program design and monitoring through data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and reporting. Regularly use statistical and geospatial tools (R Studio, ArcGIS, Power BI, SQL) to produce tables, charts, maps, dashboards, and evaluate program outcomes with an equity lens.

Support statewide federal grant administration and wildfire cost-recovery programs. Manage grant data and document retention, oversee contracts and project materials, coordinate VFC and FEMA FMAG administration, communicate with internal and external partners, ensure compliance and efficient processes, and collaborate with unit leadership and federal partners.

Provide first-line payroll, benefits and leave support using Workday and Oregon-specific systems. Process payroll, administer benefits (PEBB, PERS, Paid Leave Oregon), ensure compliance with wage/hour laws and governing regulations, and deliver timely, accurate employee service for 400–800 staff.

Provide full-range HR services to agency managers and employees including labor relations, recruitment, classification, compensation, performance management, investigations, grievances, discipline, and ADA/EEO compliance. Serve as HR business partner for regions/programs, present at meetings, support employee development, and drive process improvement and employee engagement.

Lead strategic and crisis communications for the Public Health Division. Develop and execute communications plans, manage media relations, serve as spokesperson, create content across platforms, elevate community stories, advise leadership on messaging and reputational risk, and coordinate rapid responses during emergencies.

Plan, coordinate, and execute QA across the SDLC: develop QA plans and automated regression tests, design and run test cases, triage defects, maintain test environments and artifacts, produce QA metrics and dashboards, support UAT and release readiness, and coach teams on QA best practices to ensure compliance and system reliability.

Develop and execute agency-wide communication strategies, represent the agency to stakeholders and media, independently manage projects, coordinate with partners, interpret policy, evaluate outcomes, and serve as a public information officer during emergencies. May produce written and visual content and support hybrid-remote work with required in-person duties in Salem.

Assist the public at the Grants Pass DMV with Real ID transactions: verify documents, produce photo IDs/permits, administer knowledge and vision tests, handle payments, prepare daily reports, balance transactions, provide customer service, and travel regionally for relief coverage. Requires typing proficiency and adherence to privacy and background-check requirements.
