Support design and development of HVAC and mechanical building systems under senior guidance. Prepare drawings and specifications, perform calculations, coordinate multidisciplinary work, conduct field investigations, and support quality control and project documentation.

Mechanical Engineering Intern supporting HVAC and plumbing design through AutoCAD or Revit drafting, Bluebeam markups, engineering calculations, code and standards review, cost estimating, equipment evaluations, specifications, and technical report preparation. The role is part-time in Merritt Island, Florida, with potential for additional summer hours.

Reviews, drafts, negotiates, and administers high-volume commercial contracts and related agreements. Identifies risks, coordinates reviews, maintains templates and contract records, tracks obligations and renewals, and supports procurement, finance, project, and business teams throughout the contract lifecycle. The role also develops contract management systems, workflows, approval processes, reporting, and document retention practices while ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

Constructs, modifies, and repairs precision tooling, gages, jigs, fixtures, dies, and components using conventional and CNC machines. Interprets engineering drawings and technical instructions, performs complex setups and machining operations, verifies tolerances with precision instruments, writes or edits CNC programs, maintains equipment and records, and follows safety, security, DOE, and site requirements.

Perform mechanical and plumbing design and field support across facility and aerospace projects: sizing calculations, design sketches/drawings, condition assessments, cost estimating, construction support, and technical reporting while working with multidisciplinary teams and learning codes and standards.
