Supervise a 3–5 person electrical engineering group supporting campus facility renovations and utilities. Lead electrical design for building and infrastructure projects, manage budgets/schedules, review consultant designs, update electrical standards/specs, provide construction administration and operational support to utilities and trades, and prepare proposals.

Support design, layout, fabrication, assembly, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical and electronic systems for UUVs and test equipment. Purchase components, collect and archive test data, train junior staff, and support laboratory and field tests. May lead selected tasks and develop procedural documentation.

Design and implement VR/AR/XR visualization applications and APIs, integrate 3D data into game-engine synthetic environments, deploy to VR/AR hardware, perform systems engineering, produce technical documentation, brief sponsors, and draft whitepapers and proposals. Higher-level duties include leading prototyping, defining immersive interaction standards, managing projects and sponsor relationships, and serving as subject matter expert.

Lead research, planning, execution, and evaluation of crisis and issues communications. Proactively identify and assess reputational risks; craft messaging, news releases, FAQs, and communications plans; monitor media and social channels; advise leadership; coordinate responses and post-event analysis; work cross-functionally to implement institution-aligned communications.

Design, build, and test mechanical hardware for undersea applications. Create 3D models and detailed drawings (Siemens NX preferred), perform tolerance stacks and engineering calculations, develop assembly and test procedures, assemble and test electro-mechanical systems, support field testing, and collaborate with engineering staff on requirements and conceptual design.

Provide advanced administrative support for part-time hiring, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll monitoring, stipend coordination for research programs, property and facilities coordination, departmental purchasing and monthly bill reconciliation, social media management, and event support while ensuring policy compliance and record accuracy.

Support multiple varsity sports programs in non-coaching operational roles including video operations, budget oversight, scheduling, hiring/managing student managers, equipment and apparel management, coordinating camps, scheduling competitions, travel planning/execution, compliance liaison, compiling stats, organizing recruiting visits, and community service activities.

Lead design, development, and deployment of sustainment information systems for defense applications. Define enterprise architectures, prototype cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes/Docker/CI-CD), modernize sustainment platforms, investigate emerging technologies, produce technical reports and proposals, collaborate with DoD and industry, mentor junior engineers, and support testing with periodic travel. Position supports NAVSEA and submarine sustainment environments and requires eligibility for government security clearance.
