Supports the design, fabrication, and testing of mechanical fixtures for battery pack assembly research. Creates 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings; develops fixture concepts; performs fit checks and evaluates alignment, rigidity, and repeatability; and documents design iterations, test results, and engineering changes.

Tracks social media trends and recommends strategies and technology solutions to improve engagement and communication effectiveness.

Supports additive hybrid manufacturing research involving machine tool integration, mobile robots, foundry operations, and digital sensor-enabled facilities. Develops sand-printing, casting, quality-control, and testing protocols; designs, fabricates, installs, and tests custom electrical, mechanical, and software subsystems; prepares technical documentation; evaluates tooling; collaborates with sponsors and engineering teams; and guides less experienced staff.

Provides administrative and customer service support for the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, distributing mail, stocking copier supplies, organizing office areas, assisting with general office projects and departmental events, and suggesting social media posts. The role requires approximately 10 hours weekly, primarily during weekday business hours, with occasional evening or weekend event support.
