Provides frontline support to payment partners through calls, email, Dashboard, and HappyFox. Manages high-volume requests involving underwriting, risk, equipment, residuals, reporting, products, and account administration from intake through resolution. Documents tickets, follows SOPs, coordinates with internal teams, escalates complex matters, and identifies process improvements.

Monitors merchant accounts for credit risk, fraud, disputes, compliance issues, and abnormal processing patterns. Investigates merchant activity, reviews financial and public information, evaluates business model exposure, and recommends risk mitigation actions. Supports internal and external risk inquiries and helps protect the company from financial losses associated with payment processing.

Leads Maverick Payments’ Relationship Management function, overseeing partner satisfaction, retention, engagement, escalations, portfolio health, and revenue growth. Manages and develops relationship management teams, maintains executive-level ISO and strategic partner relationships, establishes performance metrics, and identifies cross-sell and expansion opportunities. Collaborates with Sales, Risk, Finance, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership on partner strategy and business improvement. Requires quarterly travel for leadership meetings, partner visits, and company events.

The Director of Accounting leads general ledger, accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and monthly and annual close processes. The role oversees GAAP-compliant statements, annual audits, internal controls, accounting policies, process automation, and financial systems evaluation. It partners with finance, operations, compliance, and executives while managing and developing accounting staff. The position is onsite in The Woodlands, Texas, or Calabasas, California.

Oversee the company’s ACH Origination Program and merchant risk portfolio. Monitor ACH activity, investigate abnormalities, assess financial and business-model risk, ensure regulatory compliance, manage ACH policies, conduct audits, deliver training, evaluate program effectiveness, and advise leadership on remediation, pricing, acceptance, and growth strategies. Serve as the subject matter expert for ACH operations and support specialized risk and compliance initiatives.

Provides technical support for payment processing systems, POS terminals, pin pads, gateways, and merchant accounts. The role triages and escalates tickets, troubleshoots connectivity and processing issues, configures payment equipment, assists sales partners, handles complex client escalations, delivers gateway demonstrations, and coaches and trains support representatives while supporting process improvements and compliance.
