The Sales Account Executive generates business revenue through building relationships with customers, negotiating deals, and providing excellent service. Responsibilities include managing sales leads, submitting pricing, handling customer issues, and ensuring effective communication with internal departments.

Coordinate intermodal rail shipments including order entry, planning, scheduling, and drayage coordination. Monitor shipments for on-time pickup/delivery, resolve escalated customer issues, and collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement to optimize service.

Develop and manage pricing strategies and RFP responses using advanced Excel and Power BI. Analyze carrier rates and transportation costs, collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement, deliver data-driven presentations, and recommend process improvements to optimize pricing and profitability.

Coordinate customer orders, monitor and track shipments, confirm pickups and deliveries with carriers, update shipment portals, escalate service issues, manage driver detention notifications, and provide phone and email customer service to ensure timely, accurate logistics execution.
