Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist independently calendars federal, state, and agency litigation deadlines using rules-based software. The role conducts jurisdictional and court-rule research, responds to attorney inquiries, audits docketing work, mentors specialists, develops training materials, maintains procedures, and supports workflow improvements. The position requires strong knowledge of litigation procedures, deadline computation, legal research, and calendaring practices, with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

Supports attorneys in complex commercial and business litigation across state and federal courts. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, notices, and motions; coordinating depositions; organizing exhibits and case files; preparing corporate witnesses and experts; managing discovery and document productions; and contributing to litigation strategy. Requires at least five years of litigation paralegal experience, strong critical-thinking and organizational skills, technology proficiency, and attention to detail.

Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including drafting and arguing discovery motions, taking and defending depositions, managing cases, and appearing in court. The associate will develop an independent practice within a sophisticated litigation group, provide strong written and oral advocacy, and support clients in complex business disputes. Franchise litigation experience is advantageous.

Represents private equity funds, portfolio companies, corporate clients, founders, and strategic buyers in M&A, investments, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. Drafts and negotiates transaction documents, oversees due diligence and closings, advises on governance and ownership structures, and counsels clients throughout transactions. Collaborates with investment professionals, lenders, accountants, opposing counsel, and attorneys across practice groups.

Provides administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals handling litigation matters. Responsibilities include calendar and travel management, expense reporting, document preparation, court e-filing, deposition and meeting scheduling, client communication, conflict checks, matter opening, electronic file maintenance, billing support, and invoice assistance. Requires at least four years of recent state and federal litigation experience in a law firm, strong communication skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Manages physical and electronic records, processes documents in enterprise systems, supports matter mobility and client data movement, and assists with records retrieval, tracking, audits, and compliance. Partners with attorneys and staff on information governance practices, contributes to system and process improvement projects, and periodically travels to regional offices to support records handling.

Maintains intellectual property docket records, monitors deadlines, processes patent and trademark actions, reviews correspondence, updates matters, and resolves data discrepancies. The role supports docket reporting, auditing, file transfers, and data quality initiatives while coordinating with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Supports marketing operations by coordinating email marketing requests, validating data, conducting quality reviews, identifying discrepancies, escalating issues, documenting processes, and improving operational workflows. Collaborates with marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and brand-aligned communications while managing multiple priorities.

Represents corporate defendants in complex litigation, product liability, and mass tort matters. Manages cases from investigation and discovery through motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Drafts and argues substantive motions, develops litigation strategy with clients and experts, prepares witnesses, conducts legal research, and collaborates across offices on national and regional matters.

Summer associates work under attorney supervision on current client matters, participate in practice teams, attend training, and receive mentorship from experienced attorneys.
