This position offers the opportunity to build your practice within an Am Law 100 firm with a national platform and a sophisticated commercial litigation practice serving leading companies throughout the United States.

Nelson Mullins’ Columbia SC office was established in 1897 by Patrick Henry Nelson. Today in Columbia, we have approximately 115 attorneys and 230 support staff providing client services across a range of practice areas, including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, government relations, and e-discovery.

We Know You

You have between 3 and 6 years of meaningful experience in commercial litigation, including courtroom experience, in a mid-size or large law firm setting. Experience with franchise litigation is a plus. You’re prepared to draft and argue discovery motions, take and defend depositions, and bring a positive, entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are admitted to and in Good Standing with the South Carolina Bar.
