Leads a multidisciplinary engineering team developing ruggedized fiber optic and connectivity products. Oversees requirements, concept development, design reviews, prototyping, testing, verification and validation, release, configuration control, and post-release support. Coaches engineers, manages technical risks and projects, drives manufacturability and quality improvements, leads root-cause investigations, and partners with manufacturing, quality, procurement, suppliers, customers, and sales. Responsible for manufacturing and process improvement projects, including fixture design, process documentation, corrective actions, FMEAs, control plans, BOMs, inspection instructions, and new product releases. The role supports quality initiatives, nonconformance reviews, supplier and customer communication, CNC-related processes, and cross-functional manufacturing activities under supervision.

Supports HR programs across two manufacturing sites, including benefits, leave administration, employee and labor relations, recruiting, onboarding, training compliance, HRIS updates, employment-law compliance, retirement programs, workers’ compensation, and union contract administration. Coordinates open enrollment, handles employee inquiries, maintains confidential records, and partners with payroll, benefits administrators, supervisors, and employees. Requires travel to the Cardington, Ohio site twice monthly.

Manage day-to-day HR operations across two locations and a field sales team. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, employee lifecycle transactions, benefits, leave, payroll changes, performance management, talent development, compliance, reporting, and HR process improvement. The role partners with managers and centralized teams, maintains Workday records, supports workforce planning, and contributes to strategic HR initiatives while developing broader leadership responsibilities.

Supports the marketing team by managing branded material inventory, ordering and distribution, fulfilling promotional mailing requests, and coordinating tradeshow and company event logistics. Tracks marketing invoices and costs and circulates web analytics, email performance, and digital campaign reports. Requires strong organization, communication, multitasking, accuracy, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work onsite and lift up to 40 pounds.

Manages defense and marine customer accounts, serving as the primary commercial contact for inquiries, quotations, orders, delivery, and issue resolution. Coordinates engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and supply chain activities to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Supports revenue growth, pricing negotiations, forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with applicable quality, screening, safety, and company standards.
