Senior engineering role to design, qualify, and productize high-speed optical interconnects (pluggables, NPO, CPO) for AI scale-up networks. Duties include component characterization, link-budget analysis, vendor management, NPI qualification, system bring-up, and collaboration with ASIC, SI, thermal, and software teams for 800G–1.6T (and roadmap to 3.2T) deployments.

Own Yocto-based builds, U-Boot, device trees, kernel drivers, D-Bus services, telemetry, thermal/power management, firmware update and security flows, Redfish/IPMI and DMTF protocols, and collaborate on board/ASIC design and upstream OpenBMC contributions and test automation.

Lead supplier diligence, market mapping, financial modeling, and deal structuring to secure semiconductor and hardware supply. Support end-to-end partner selection, negotiation, and execution while coordinating with engineering, operations, finance, and legal. Produce concise deal memos, market maps, supplier assessments, and build internal processes for supply-chain deals.

Lead and grow a kernel engineering team while designing and implementing high-performance compute kernels for specialized AI hardware, collaborating with ML research and hardware teams to optimize performance and integration.

Support business development and company operations by managing scheduling, triaging communications, preparing research, tracking action items, coordinating travel and visitor logistics, and owning special projects to ensure partners, vendors, and internal teams follow through.

Design, implement, and optimize Linux kernel drivers and low-level userspace libraries for PCIe AI accelerators. Prototype and validate features on pre-silicon platforms, perform first-silicon bring-up, debug hardware/software interactions, profile host I/O paths, deliver tests, and expose telemetry for management and BMC integration while influencing future chip architecture.

Lead and build the in-house accounting function for a scaling semiconductor startup: own monthly close, GAAP financials, cost and inventory accounting for silicon programs, tax and audit readiness, ERP readiness and transition planning, treasury and payroll oversight, investor and Board reporting, and hire/manage accounting staff while implementing controls and scalable processes.

Lead FP&A and finance operations for an early-stage AI company: run planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial modeling. Oversee accounting operations (AR/AP), improve processes and controls, support capital and equity strategy, investor reporting, and mentor finance team members. Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate financial data into clear business insights and enable scalable growth.
