Leads the design, development, validation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of manufacturing equipment, workstations, tooling, and automation. Manages the platform roadmap, vendors, managed service providers, risk, costs, architecture alignment, and technical initiatives. Partners with infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, business, and SAP teams to ensure reliable and scalable services. Provides leadership, coaching, stakeholder communication, and oversight for complex SAP environments supporting more than 1,000 users.

Develop and integrate features for a robotic-assisted orthopedic platform across software, hardware, implants, and surgical instrumentation. Translate clinical needs into system requirements, design inputs, and acceptance criteria; develop prototypes; conduct experiments, testing, troubleshooting, and trade studies; analyze data; and maintain requirements traceability and design documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, verification, software, clinical, and customer teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Supports medical device territory growth by assisting with sales, account management, customer engagement, product evaluations, and surgical procedures. Educates surgeons, nurses, and healthcare staff; manages inventory and case preparation; tracks territory activities and account information; and partners with sales representatives to develop opportunities. The field-based role requires travel throughout Southern Connecticut and shared nights, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Designs and develops electrical components and subsystems for medical devices, including advanced circuit testing, prototyping, research, and complex design problem resolution. The engineer balances system design tradeoffs, collaborates with product development, production, and contract manufacturers, and manages multiple project streams. Responsibilities also include schematic and PCB layout, technical documentation, and potentially PLC input/output module design. The role may mentor other engineers and requires independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Provides field-based operating room technical support for minimally invasive surgical procedures. Sets up and tests Stryker equipment, adjusts intraoperative camera and device settings, troubleshoots endoscopy and integration systems, manages equipment breakdown and staging, cleans and maintains components, restocks supplies, and trains OR and SPD staff. Supports video conferencing, DICOM transfers, and EMR connectivity when applicable. Requires OR technical support or surgical services experience and familiarity with minimally invasive procedures.

Design and verify mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for medical devices across the product development lifecycle. Translate clinical and user requirements into engineering specifications, conduct prototyping and testing, resolve design challenges, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and project teams to support product launches and continuous improvement.

Provides field-based operating room and sterile processing support for Stryker endoscopy equipment and surgical instrumentation. Responsibilities include equipment setup, functionality checks, intraoperative adjustments, troubleshooting, post-procedure breakdown, cleaning, restocking, instrument reprocessing, documentation, staff education, and basic connectivity support. The role collaborates with surgeons, OR teams, SPD, biomedical staff, and hospital leadership while providing rotating, on-call, weekend, overnight, and occasional travel coverage.
