Leads the Community Foundation’s finance, administration, compliance, investments, budgeting, reporting, fund accounting, payroll, HR administration, facilities, vendors, and office operations. Serves on the Leadership Team, contributes to organization-wide strategy and planning, oversees financial controls and nonprofit compliance, manages investment assets and banking relationships, and develops the Finance and Administration team.

The Chief Financial Officer leads STARS’ financial strategy and oversees accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, procurement, grants, audits, reporting, compliance, and financial controls. The CFO advises executive leadership and the Board, manages public-sector funding and regulatory requirements, develops operating and capital budgets, and leads the Finance Department. The role requires collaboration with auditors, agencies, vendors, and community stakeholders while ensuring responsible stewardship of public resources.

The Controller leads daily accounting operations, financial reporting, job costing, payroll, cash management, and close processes. They establish internal controls and accounting policies, oversee credit card and expense programs, manage accounting personnel, and maintain relationships with banks, bonding companies, and external CPAs. The role also evaluates ERP and accounting systems to improve automation, integration, reporting, and operational efficiency while supporting the CFO and company growth.
