Design mechanical components for hybrid/electric onboard chargers and DC/DC converters. Create connectors, bus bars, and liquid-cooling heat sinks; perform mechanical analysis for vibration, thermal shock, IPK, thermal performance, GD&T tolerance stack-up, and DFMEA. Collaborate with electrical, CAE, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure DFM and component compliance; document designs and resolve issues using structured problem-solving.

Lead manufacturing engineering for new facility and production lines: design and implement assembly line/process improvements, manage capital equipment purchases and projects, drive cost reductions and APQP/quality compliance, work with vendors and cross-functional teams, enforce safety and lean practices, and support new program launches and continuous improvement.

Provide manufacturing and quality engineering technical support to production, lead new product introductions, implement process and equipment improvements, perform problem-solving (8D/5 Why/A3), run DOE/DOE studies and SPC, manage non-conformances and customer corrective actions, and train/lead manufacturing teams to improve quality, cost, and safety.

Lead global pre-production industrial engineering for electrification programs: develop capacity models, optimize layouts and line balancing, run virtual/physical builds and time studies, integrate ergonomic designs, train plant IEs, support launches, and drive productivity and sustainability improvements across manufacturing sites.

Support mechanical product development for Variable Cam Timing and Timing Drive systems: create/review specifications, lead designs, run proof-of-concept evaluations, support DFMEA/DVP&R, analyze prototypes and failures, release designs per PDLP, and collaborate with suppliers, validation, and plant engineering to improve quality and reduce cost.
