Drive new business and manage existing accounts for ocean transportation services. Build client relationships, negotiate contracts and rates, resolve service issues, meet sales KPIs, report market and account performance, pursue overdue payments, and collaborate with pricing and operations teams across Transpacific and Transatlantic trade lanes.

Generates new business through lead follow-up, cold calling, customer research, and phone or email outreach. Maintains customer relationships, sales records, and databases while meeting sales KPIs and quotas. Supports Account Executives, manages rate inquiries and service contracts, coordinates pricing updates, resolves customer issues, and assists with reporting. The role requires strong communication, organization, negotiation, research, problem-solving, and follow-up skills in an office-based shipping and logistics environment.

Handles customer inquiries regarding import shipments through phone, email, and live chat. Resolves terminal, rail, customs, demurrage, payment, examination, and cargo-release issues; processes delivery and invoice requests; coordinates with customers, carriers, terminals, and internal teams; and uses multiple systems to research information and communicate accurate resolutions.

Manages general accounting, treasury, tax, audit, financial reporting, and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions and subsidiaries. Oversees accounting personnel, SAP and COMPASS transactions, consolidated financial statements, corporate and property tax filings, internal and external audits, stock records, business registrations, and invoice approvals. Reports to the parent company in Korea and supports global headquarters requests.

Coordinates export cargo manifests and maritime shipping documentation, ensuring accurate and timely release of bills of lading and related documents. Handles change-of-destination requests, customs and manifest filings, in-bond shipment closeouts, bond usage guidance, web bill-of-lading support, and customer inquiries. Communicates daily with shippers, freight forwarders, internal departments, and overseas offices while providing customer service and maintaining documentation accuracy.
