Support development, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of drilling rig automation systems. Perform basic engineering calculations, prepare technical documentation, review technical data, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, and participate in field testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

Provide clerical and administrative support for the Certification Department: receive/check/scan/distribute certification and parts/operations documents, perform data entry, maintain file rooms and SharePoint/NaborsNet uploads, coordinate with vendors and project teams, assist with asset management entries and general office tasks.

Manage and execute engineering projects from concept through commissioning, controlling scope, schedule, budget and risk. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, provide engineering/design support, select and procure equipment, manage contractors, and ensure HSE and quality compliance. Support testing, fabrication, and site integration activities and mentor team members.

Lead mechanical engineer responsible for designing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and specifying drilling rigs and subsystems. Oversees design scopes from concept through construction, performs engineering calculations and FEA, manages contractors, conducts failure/root cause analysis, supports operations/marketing/purchasing, evaluates new equipment, and ensures compliance with industry codes to improve rig reliability and efficiency.
