Design, build, deploy, and operate Python-based full-stack and cloud-native services enabling agentic middleware and distributed workflows for scientific research. Collaborate with domain scientists, lead architecture and technical direction, ensure compliance, present results, and drive AI/ML and data infrastructure initiatives.

Oversee hardware/software deployments, fiber-optic links, quantum components (repeaters, detectors, memories), vendor engagements, compliance, and collaboration with national labs and university partners. Lead network design, installation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder reporting to senior leadership.

Lead all operational, financial, fundraising, partnership, programming, and outreach efforts for the Center. Manage day-to-day operations for the Ben May Department for Cancer Research, coordinating with faculty leadership, finance, HR, facilities, and partner departments. Oversee staff supervision, recruitment/onboarding, equipment inventory audits, website and social media, grant input compliance, and process improvements. Lead training, special projects, and ensure adherence to University policies and departmental operational strategy.

Lead commercialization of University of Chicago AI and data science ventures by evaluating inventions, guiding faculty on commercialization and investor readiness, cultivating investor relationships, running due diligence and licensing negotiations, developing programs to support entrepreneurial talent, and managing budgets and cross-campus coordination to drive venture growth and funding.
