The Employee Relations Specialist serves as a primary HR resource for employees and front-line leaders. Responsibilities include workplace investigations, policy interpretation, compliance, performance management, manager coaching, employee engagement measurement, HR program delivery, communications, and engagement initiatives. The role maintains confidentiality, supports labor law compliance, and provides coverage to other company sites as needed. It is an onsite position in Salt Lake City with quarterly travel for remote site support.

Develop, integrate, verify, and qualify hydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems for military aircraft. Translate system needs into engineering requirements, create verification strategies and qualification plans, execute testing, analyze results, troubleshoot integration issues, investigate root causes, and communicate technical findings to stakeholders and customers. Collaborate across engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle and travel approximately 5–15% to company and customer locations.

Own and prioritize data products that enable analytics, reporting, and operational decisions. Translate business needs into user stories and technical specs, manage stakeholder alignment, validate deliveries, and ensure governance, data quality, and compliance for curated datasets, metrics, and dashboards.

Serve as the technical expert in GD&T and functional gage design to ensure parts are measurable and inspectable. Design, review, and improve custom gauges, fixtures, and tooling; interpret drawings against ASME Y14.5/Y14.43; provide inspection feasibility and disposition guidance; partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers to improve dimensional quality and manufacturability; deliver technical training and support drawing review and release workflows.
