Operates, maintains, modifies, and repairs MOCVD equipment for compound semiconductor epitaxial growth. Performs process design and optimization, material and device characterization, quality control and yield analysis, troubleshooting of electrical, control, gas flow, and vacuum systems, and documentation of growth runs, processes, reports, and SOPs.

Support and improve manufacturing operations through automation, equipment qualification, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, data analysis, and production process optimization. Develop and validate hardware and software solutions using LabVIEW, SQL, Python, PLCs, and analytics tools. Support equipment testing, performance metrics, yield improvement, downtime reduction, and early production ramp activities. The role is on-site in Sugar Land, Texas, with 5–10% international travel.

Operate, maintain, modify, and optimize optical coating equipment used for thin-film semiconductor fabrication. Develop AR and HR coatings through ion beam sputtering and e-beam evaporation, monitor deposition runs, analyze optical measurements, troubleshoot vacuum and equipment issues, design new coatings, improve throughput and stability, document procedures, and train production personnel.

Designs, develops, and owns full-stack software supporting manufacturing operations, including dashboards, equipment monitoring, MES/RMS integrations, and SECS/GEM automation. Builds C#/.NET applications, SQL data solutions, and REST services; troubleshoots equipment communication and production issues; collaborates with engineering, quality, IT, vendors, and manufacturing teams. Maintains documentation, supports equipment qualification, improves automation and throughput, and provides production support in office, warehouse, and cleanroom environments.

Provides in-house corporate legal support, including contract drafting and review, corporate governance, board materials, SEC filings, legal research, corporate record maintenance, and general assistance to senior counsel. Manages multiple legal projects and deadlines while advising on business implications, risks, and legal obligations. Requires a Juris Doctor, 2–5 years of law firm or in-house experience, and admission to the Texas State Bar or another jurisdiction.

Supports federal, state, and local tax compliance, tax provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, public-company tax disclosures, R&D credits, government incentives, audits, property tax, and sales and use tax activities. Coordinates with auditors, advisors, finance teams, and international stakeholders. Maintains tax calendars, develops procedures and controls, researches tax issues, and improves tax processes for a public manufacturing company.

Provide technical support for manufacturing software and factory automation systems in a high-volume electronics environment. Investigate production issues using SQL, logs, transaction histories, and system records; troubleshoot MES, EAP, WMS, equipment interfaces, and related applications; and collaborate with Production, Engineering, IT, developers, and vendors. Create SOPs, troubleshooting guides, manuals, and knowledge articles, participate in root cause analysis, and provide after-hours or on-call support for critical incidents.

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing for optical, semiconductor, telecom, and related components. Develop category strategies, run RFQs/RFPs, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, improve total cost of ownership, manage supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and ensure quality, compliance, and continuity. Partner with engineering, finance, operations, quality, and program teams on sourcing, make-versus-buy, NPI, and ramp decisions. Monitor markets, tariffs, geopolitical risks, and supplier health while delivering executive reporting and cost savings.

Coordinates receiving operations, verifies incoming shipments, records materials in SAP and MES, resolves shipment issues, manages lab coat barcode scanning, replenishes supplies, and supports department targets. The role requires physical handling, loading and unloading materials, accurate documentation, teamwork, problem-solving, and flexibility for overtime or weekend work.
